First Things First: Does the Hydro Collection Actually Work?
Time and time again, Introstem customers come back to us telling us about how much of a tremendous difference they can see in their skin.
We engineered this line to reverse the appearance of time without taking time, so we leveraged some of the most exciting and proven technologies out there, such as stem cell extracts, acetyl hexapeptide-8, and dimethylaminoethanol tartrate. We’ll break down why these are so crucial and the benefits they provide when incorporated into your regimen a bit later in this post. For now, let’s take a tour of the different products in the line so you can see how to best integrate them into your skincare regimen.
The Hydro Transforming Mask

How to Use the Hydro Transforming Mask
Starting on clean skin, apply an even layer of the mask on your face. After 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use it a maximum of once a week and use this in the evening.
The Hydro Stem Cell Drops
The Hydro Stem Cell Drops is designed to leverage cutting-edge stem cell technology to fade the look of wrinkles and improve the appearance of dark spots and redness.

How to Use the Hydro Stem Cell Drops

How to Use the Hydro Reforming Alpha Solution
Twist the bottle to reveal the applicator (you should hear a ‘pop’ when this happens). Apply 1 to 2 pumps onto clean fingertips and apply those only to areas with the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, such as fine lines around the eyes and mouth area, and any frown lines on the forehead.
How to Use the Hydro Reforming Beta Solution
After using the Hydro Reforming Alpha Solution, twist the cap of the Beta Solution until it pops out. Apply 1-2 pumps on clean fingers and pat that over any areas with unwanted wrinkles.
The Hydro Age Reforming IV Solution
The best-selling Hydro Age Reforming IV Solution is another serum in the Hydro line that is great for those looking to plump and firm the look of aging skin.
Spotlight Ingredient: DMAE
Dimethylaminoethanol Tartrate (abbreviated DMAE) is another substance that is naturally produced in the body. DMAE has become very popular lately because of its ability to fade the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines and restore a look of ‘fullness’ to the skin. The American Journal of Clinical Dermatology did a review that found that DMAE was highly effective at reducing the appearance of fine lines on the eyes and forehead, alongside increasing the feel of skin firmness.
How to Use the Hydro Age Reforming IV Solution
Similar to the previous serums, twist the applicator until the pump is exposed. Apply 1 or 2 pumps to clean fingers and focus on areas where you would like to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
The Hydro Face and Neck Cream
Our Hydro Face and Neck Cream is super-packed with beneficial moisturizing actives, such as Collagen, Retinyl Palmitate, and peptides. It also features heavier occlusives, such as Shea Butter, to help your skin feel moisturized all day long.
Spotlight Ingredient: Retinyl Palmitate
Retinyl Palmitate is an encapsulated form of good-old Retinol. The fact that it’s encapsulated means that it will release slower. This allows it to fully penetrate the skin before turning into Retinol. Retinyl Palmitate is also better tolerated because it doesn’t irritate the skin as much as formulations with Retinol.
How to Use Hydro Face and Neck Cream
Use as a daily moisturizer for your face, neck, and chest area.
So, What Would a Full Regimen With All the Hydro Collection Products Look Like?
Your Hydro Collection routine would start after cleansing and toning your skin. Now, there are 2 routines you’d need to adopt: a daily routine and your once-a-week evening routine.
For Your Daily Routine:
- Starting off with clean skin, apply 2 to 3 drops of the Stem Cell Drops to areas with visible fine lines and wrinkles, especially the eye area.
- After that, move on to your serums. The choice is essentially between 2: the Hydro Age Reforming IV Solution or a combination of the Hydro Age Reforming Alpha Solution and Hydro Age Reforming Beta Solution.
- Your final step is almost always going to be your moisturizer. Use the Hydro Face and Neck Cream over your serums.
- You can repeat these steps in the evening before bed.
For Your Once-a-Week Routine:
- This routine should always be done in the evening. Starting on a freshly washed face, apply an even coat of the Transforming Mask. Let this sit for 15 minutes and thoroughly rinse it off with warm water.
- Afterward, carefully break open 1 or 2 capsules of the Hydro Silk Capsules and apply to your face.
- Next, apply 1 to 3 drops of the Stem Cell Drops to specific areas of your face with signs of wrinkling.
- Repeat Steps 2-4 from your Daily Routine.
Incorporating the Hydro Collection Into Your Current Skincare Routine
Introducing new skincare products into your current regimen can be quite challenging. If you don’t do it right, this might end up causing irritation to your skin. So here are a few tips you should keep in mind if you’re looking to do this:
Always Spot Test
Spot testing is so, so important! You’ve already worked so hard on your skin. So, don’t risk irritating your skin and causing breakouts by jumping right into using new products on your whole face.
Pick a small spot, preferably on an area of your face that isn’t too conspicuous. Then, test out the new products on that patch for at least 48 hours. This gives you enough time to see if you’ll suffer any adverse effects. This might indicate that you are allergic to the product or that the product is too strong for you.
Two days is okay, but spot testing for 4 days to 1 week would be the best option, especially for sensitive skin.
Introduce One Skincare Product at a Time
Start introducing one product at a time. Today, you can choose to start using the Face and Neck Cream. Spot test that for a couple of days, and if you do not react to it, keep using it and then add in one more product, such as the Stem Cell drops. Do this until you’ve introduced all the products into your usual routine.
Note down any points where you start to feel or see irritation and halt using the latest product that you had added. Wait for it to resolve, and then try to reintroduce that product again. Monitor your results, and soon, you’ll know if that product will work for you or not.
Look Out For Ingredients That Should Not Be Mixed
Before you purchase your products, make sure to run through the ingredients list. Compare those to actives in your current products. Search on Google to find out if any ingredients shouldn’t be used in combination with the actives in your current skincare products. Compare those with the ingredients of your new Introstem products to see if they contain anything on your ‘no-go’ list
